Witcher 3 Console Commands

This is a searchable and complete list of Witcher 3 console commands.

You will need to enable the console in order to enter commands. To do so, go to the folder The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt / bin / config / base / general.ini. Open the general.ini file with Notepad. Under [General], add DBGConsoleOn=true. Save and exit the file.

Now you can enter commands in the game. Open the console in the game by pressing the ~/~ button.

Search all commands

  • xy

    This command will teleport your character to the specified X and Y coordinates.

    Syntax:

    xyX, Y

  • WitcherHairstyle

    This command sets your character's hairstyle to the specified hairstyle number.

    Syntax:

    WitcherHairstyle'1' / '2' / '3'

  • witchcraft

    This command will give you one of every item in the game. Warning: This may crash your game.

    Syntax:

  • winGwint

    Instantly win true or lose false your current Gwent game.

    Syntax:

    winGwinttrue / false

  • ToggleCameraAutoRotation

    This console command enables and disables the automatic rotation of the camera that follows your character.

    Syntax:

    ToggleCameraAutoRotation

  • TM

    This command sets the time multiplier (or TM) to the specified number. For example, a multiplier of 2 will make time go twice as fast, while a multiplier of 0.5 will make time go at half speed. The default multiplier is 1.

    Syntax:

    TMMultiplier

  • testunpause

    This command will unpause the game.

    Syntax:

    testunpause

  • testpause

    This command will pause the game.

    Syntax:

    testpause

  • stoprain

    This command stops any ongoing storms or rain. Use the command makeitrain to start a storm.

    Syntax:

    stoprain

  • staminapony

    Spawn a horse with unlimited stamina.

    Syntax:

    staminapony

  • SpawnHorse

    Spawn a horse.

    Syntax:

    SpawnHorse

  • spawnBoatAndMount

    Spawn a boat.

    Syntax:

    spawnBoatAndMount

  • spawn

    This command will spawn the NPC with the specified NPC ID. The Amount and Distance are optional. You can also optionally set whether the NPC will be hostile true or friendly false. A list of all NPC IDs is at gamesref.com/games/witcher-3/spawn-npc.

    Syntax:

    spawn'NPC ID', Amount, Distance, true / false

  • ShowPins

    This command will show all map icons.

    Syntax:

    ShowPins0 / 1

  • ShowKnownPins

    This console command will reveal (1) or hide (0) all locations on the map.

    Syntax:

    ShowKnownPins0 / 1

  • ShowAllFT

    This command will show all Fast Travel pins on the map.

    Syntax:

    ShowAllFT0 / 1

  • shave

    This command will remove facial hair.

    Syntax:

    shave

  • settime

    This command sets the time of day to the specified time.

    Syntax:

    settimeDay, Hour, Minute, Seconds

  • setlevel

    This command sets your level to the specified number.

    Syntax:

    setlevelLevel

  • setcustomhead

    This console command will set your character's head to the head with the specified ID. Find a list of head IDs at commands.gg/witcher3/heads. Use the removecustomhead command to revert to your character's default head.

    Syntax:

    setcustomhead'Head ID'

  • setbeard

    This command will set your beard style.

    Syntax:

    setbeard#, #

  • secretgwint

    This command will immediately start a round of Gwent.

    Syntax:

    secretgwint

  • rmvabl

    This command will remove the buff with the specified buff ID.

    Syntax:

    rmvabl'Buff ID'

  • removemoney

    This command will remove the specified amount of Crowns.

    Syntax:

    removemoneyAmount

  • removeitem

    This command removes the specified item from your inventory.

    Syntax:

    removeitem'Item Code'

  • removecustomhead

    This command will remove any custom head you have applied to your character with the setcustomhead command.

    Syntax:

    removecustomhead

  • makeitrain

    This command activates stormy weather. Use the command stoprain to stop the storm.

    Syntax:

    makeitrain

  • likeaboss

    This command will toggle Boss mode. Enter it to activate Boss mode and enter it again to disable Boss mode. In Boss mode, the damage you deal will be 40% of the recipient's maximum health level. For example, if the recipient has 10,000 maximum health, you will deal 4,000 damage.

    Syntax:

    likeaboss

  • levelup

    This command levels you up one level. Use the command setlevel if you want to jump to a level.

    Syntax:

    levelup

  • learnskill

    This command will make Geralt learn the skill with the specified skill ID (or talent code). Enter the command again to increase your skill level in that skill. A list of all skill IDs is at gamesref.com/games/witcher-3/skills.

    Syntax:

    learnskill'Skill ID'

  • killall

    This command will kill all enemies in your line of sight. The distance is optional. If it is specified, all enemies within that distance from your character will be killed.

    Syntax:

    killallDistance

  • instantMount

    This command will spawn and instantly mount your character to the NPC with the specified ID.

    Syntax:

    instantMount'NPC ID'

  • healme

    This console command will heal you completely.

    Syntax:

    healme

  • gotoWyzima

    This command will teleport your to Wyzima.

    Syntax:

    gotoWyzima

  • gotoSkellige

    This command will teleport you to Skellige Isles.

    Syntax:

    gotoSkellige

  • gotoPrologWinter

    This command will teleport you to the winter version of White Orchard.

    Syntax:

    gotoPrologWinter

  • gotoProlog

    This command will teleport you to White Orchard.

    Syntax:

  • gotoNovigrad

    This command will teleport you to Novigrad.

    Syntax:

  • gotoKaerMohren

    This command will teleport you to Kaer Morhen.

  • god

    This command will toggle God mode. Enter the command to activate God mode. Enter it again to disable God mode. When you are in God mode, you are invincible and will no take any damage.

    Syntax:

  • Geralt

    This command will switch your character to Geralt.

    Syntax:

    Geralt

  • fadeout

    This command will fade out the game using the same effect that is used for a cut scene. Use the command fadein to fade the screen back.

    Syntax:

    fadeout

  • fadein

    This command fades the screen in after having previously been faded out. Use the command fadeout to fade out the game.

    Syntax:

    fadein

  • Drunk

    This command will toggle Drunk Mode, where your vision will be distorted and your dialogue altered. Use 1 to activate Drunk Mode and 0 to deactivate it.

    Syntax:

    Drunk0 / 1

  • dlgshow

    This command will hide the GUI or HUD (heads-up display). Use the command dlghide to show it.

    Syntax:

    dlgshow

  • dismember

    This command dismembers your current targeted NPC.

    Syntax:

    dismember

  • cleardevelop

    This command will reset you to level 1. Your inventory will be cleared and replaced with with starter gear and inventory.

    Syntax:

    cleardevelop

  • Ciri

    This command will switch your character to Ciri.

    Syntax:

    Ciri

  • changeweather

    This command will change the world's weather to the weather type with the specified ID. A list of all weather IDs is at gamesref.com/games/witcher-3/weather.

    Syntax:

    changeweather'Weather ID'

  • cat

    This command will toggle the ability to see in the dark. Use 1 to activate night vision and 0 to change back to normal vision.

    Syntax:

    Cat0 / 1

  • buffme

    Use this command to give your character the specified effect for the specified duration, measured in seconds.

    Syntax:

    buffme'Effect Type ID', Seconds

  • appearance

    Use this command to alter the appearance an NPC or your character.

    Syntax:

    appearance'Appearance ID'

  • AllowFT

    Use this command to enable (1) or disable (0) the ability to Fast Travel from any location.

    Syntax:

    AllowFT0 / 1

  • addskillpoints

    This command will add the specified amount of skill points.

    Syntax:

    addskillpointsAmount

  • addmoney

    This command will add the specified amount of Crowns to your balance.

    Syntax:

    addmoneyAmount

  • addkeys

    This command will give you all keys required to open all doors.

    Syntax:

    addkeys

  • additem

    This command adds the specified number of specified items. The amount is optional. If it is not specified, only one of the item will be added to your inventory.

    Syntax:

    additem'Item Code', Amount

  • addHairDLC3

    This command will set your hairstyle to Elven Rebel's hairstyle, which is a short, slicked back hair.

    Syntax:

    addHairDLC3

  • addHairDLC2

    This command will set your hairstyle to a mohawk with a ponytail.

    Syntax:

    addHairDLC2

  • addHairDLC1

    This command will set your hairstyle to a loose, short haircut.

    Syntax:

    This command will set your hairstyle to shoulder length, loose hair.

    Syntax:

    This command will set your hairstyle to a ponytail.

    Syntax:

  • addgwintcards

    This command will add all Gwent cards to your deck except for the Vampire: Katakan Card. Use the command additem('gwint_card_katakan') to add the Vampire: Katakan Card.

    This command will add the specified amount of experience points.

    Syntax:

    addexpAmount

  • addabl

    This command will give you the buff with the specified buff ID. To remove a buff, use the command rmvabl.

    This command will show all characters in the glossary.
