Risk of Rain 2 Console Commands

This is a searchable and complete list of Risk of Rain 2 console commands. To open the command console, press Control Alt ~ / `. Type the command and press the Enter key.

Note that using commands will disable any game achievements. We recommend you save a version of your game before you starting using console commands.

Search all commands

  • wwise_log_enabled

    This command will allow logging. The value are 0 for disable and 1 for enable. The default value is enable or 1.

  • window_mode

    This command allows you to set the display to window mode rather than full screen. The default value is full screen.

  • wait_ms

    This command will allow you to change the time difference between each frame. The default is -1.

  • vsync_count

    This command will let you change the sync. The default value is 0.

  • volume_sfx

    This command allows you to change the sound effects volume in the game. The default value is 100.

  • volume_msx

    This command allows you to change the music volume of the game. The default value is 100.

  • volume_master

    This command allows you to change the master volume of the game. The default value is 100.

  • viewables_list

    This command will display a list of all the viewables.

  • vfxbudget_particle_cost_bias

    This command allows you to change the particle cost bias. The default is 0.

  • vfxbudget_medium_priority_cost_threshold

    This command allows you to change the medium priority cost threshold. The default is 200.

  • vfxbudget_low_priority_cost_threshold

    This command allows you to change the low priority cost threshold. The default is 50.

  • user_profile_save

    This command will save the progress of the user profile.

  • user_profile_main

    This command will display the current main user profile.

  • user_profile_delete

    This command will delete the user profile.

  • user_profile_copy

    This command will copy the user profile name.

  • transition_command

    This command will fade out and execute a command at the end of the fadeout

  • timestep

    This command will allow you to change the timestep of the game. The default is 0.016.

  • timescale

    This command will allow you to change the game timescale. The default value is 1.

  • timer_resolution

    This command will display the Windows timer resolution.

  • test_splitscreen

    This command will create a split screen based on the number of users.

  • sync_physics

    This command will allow you to turn on or off the physics auto syncing between your moves.

  • sv_maxplayers

    This command will let you set the maximum number of players allowed in the lobby.

  • sv_listen

    This command will allow connections from other players.

  • steam_server_print_info

    This command will display the Steam server information.

  • steam_remote_storage_list_files

    This command will display all the files in Steam's remove storage.

  • steam_quickplay_stop

    This command will stop quick play.

  • steam_quickplay_start

    This command will start quick play.

  • steam_lobby_update_player_count

    This command will update the lobby and show the most current player count.

  • steam_lobby_print_members

    This command will print out a list of all the current members in the lobby.

  • steam_lobby_print_list

    This command will print out a list of lobbies from previous gameplays.

  • steam_lobby_print_data

    This command will print out the lobby data.

  • steam_lobby_open_invite_overlay

    This command will open the steam lobby overlay and display the friend invite menu.

  • steam_lobby_leave

    This command will kick out a player from the current lobby. Use the player's unique Steam ID.

  • steam_lobby_invite

    This command will invite a player to the current lobby. Use the player's unique Steam ID to invite them.

  • steam_lobby_id

    This command will display the current lobby's Steam ID.

  • steam_lobby_copy_to_clipboard

    This command will copy the active steam lobby to the clipboard.

  • steam_lobby_assign_owner

    This command will allow you to assign the owner.

  • steam_id

    This command will display your unique Steam ID.

  • stage1_pod

    This command will use the pod on the first stage.

  • shadow_resolution

    This command lets you select the shadow resolution.

  • shadow_distance

    This command changes the distance in meters for portrait shadows.

    This command changes the number of cascades used. This can be High or Low.

    This command sets vstr to a specified value.

    This command changes texture quality. The maximum is 0.

    This command allows you to change the maximum number of corpses. The default is 25.

    This command allows you to choose Hard or OutOfSight for corpses. The default is OutOfSight.

    This command will enable or disable the console. The default parameter is 1.

    This command will connect you to a server using Steamworks P2P.

    This command will clear the console output.

  • cheats

    This command will enable cheats. This will also disable any Achievements, Trackings, and Progress. The default is 0. To enable cheats, use the command cheat 1.

  • chat_max_messages

    This command will change the maximum number of chat messages that can be shown. The default is 30.

  • body_list

    This command will list all character bodies.

  • body_generate_portraits

    This command will generate portraits for all bodies.

  • ban_steam

    This command will ban the user (based on their Steam ID) from the server.

  • auto_simulate_physics

    This command allow you to turn on or off physics auto simulate.

  • audio_focused_only

    This command allow you to change the audio mute settings, while you are focusing.

  • anisotropic_filtering = Disable

    This command allow you to change the anisotropic filtering. This is disabled by default and can be changed by entering Enable or ForceEnable.

  • aim_stick_smoothing

    This command allow you to change the smoothing factor for stick aiming.

  • aim_stick_global_scale

    This command allow you to change the global sensitivity scale for stick aiming.

  • aim_stick_exponent

    This command allow you to change the exponent while aiming from stick input.

  • aim_stick_dual_zone_threshold

    This command allow you to change the threshold limit for stick dual zone.

  • aim_stick_dual_zone_slope

    This command allow you to change the slope number for stick dual zone.

  • aim_stick_assist_min_slowdown_scale

    This command allow you to change the sensitivity scales while you are dragging over enemies.

  • aim_stick_assist_min_size

    This command allow you to change the minimum size of the aim assist white zone. This extends over your cross hair. The default parameter is 1.

  • aim_stick_assist_min_delta

    This command allow you to change the minimum amount the aim assist can track to. The default parameter is 0.

  • aim_stick_assist_max_slowdown_scale

    This command will adjust your sensitivity scales while dragging over enemies. The default value is 0.4.

  • aim_stick_assist_max_size

    This command allow you to change the maximum size of the aim assist white zone, which is over your crosshair.

  • aim_stick_assist_max_input_help

    This command will increase the magnitude towards the target. The parameter can range between 0 and 1. The default is 0.2.

  • aim_stick_assist_max_delta

    This command will show change the maximum amount where the aim assist can track to. The default value is 1.57.
